CASE SUMMARY

For the last few years, FCB’s “Get that Lotto 6/49 Feeling” platform for Lotto 6/49 has demonstrated that there’s more to playing the lottery than winning big. With every purchase of a ticket comes a flood of varied emotions, including fun, excitement and anticipation. Three executions transposed the concept to print by capturing events just as they were about to unfold, blending emotions and injecting suspense into the static ads: a marble rolling pin about to roll down a ramp covered with bubble wrap; a mentos parachuting into a bottle of Cola, inevitably causing a reactive explosion reminiscent of high school science experiments; and an unstable stack of Jenga blocks leaning to the side, ready to fall at the slightest touch or breeze, as a falling feather inches ever closer. Each ad appeared alongside the words “Get that 6/49 feeling.”
